Boyt luggage has what they call the "Boyt Best Luggage Warranty." The Boyt Mach 6 and Boyt Edge Designer luggage is covered by this warranty. The Best Luggage Warranty will cover repair of all functional aspects of the Boyt Edge Designer or the Boyt Mach 6.0 luggage for life. Even if the damage was caused by the airlines, or another common carrier, it is covered under their "Boyt Best Luggage Warranty." The Boyt Edge Designer or Boyt Mach 6 bag will be repaired free of charge. You will only be responsible for the freight charges when shipping your bag to a repair center. The warranty does NOT cover cosmetic wear or cleaning. It does not cover replacement of lost bags and/or its contents. Boyt suggests that you place a claim at airports, bus and train terminals, and cruiseline ports for damages they have caused, since it is not always possible to return your bag to its original condition. You can contact Boyt, who was recently purchased by Hartmann luggage, or bring/ship your bag to one of their authorized repair centers. Boyt products are rigorously tested to ensure that the travel products you trust meet stringent standards. Consequently, if a problem occurs with this Boyt product (the "Product") and the problem is caused by manufacturing defects in material and workmanship, Boyt will, in its discretion, either fix or replace the Product in accordance with the warranty terms and conditions stated herein. The warranty provided for herein applies only to the first purchaser or gift recipient of the Product for a period of ten years starting from the date this Product was purchased.
This warranty covers only manufacturing defects and does not cover any damage caused by misuse (such as transportation of unusual items), neglect, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, normal wear and tear or transport damage (by airlines for example). While non-warranty maintenance or repairs on your Product can be performed by any company, Boyt requires that you use only an approved Boyt service center ("Service Center") for warranty repairs. Improper or incorrectly performed maintenance or repairs void this warranty.

Please do not send your Product directly to Samsonite or Boyt, as this will only delay the repair. This warranty is global and you may have your Product repaired at any Service Center in the world. You are, however, responsible for all costs of getting the Product to any such Service Center including, but not limited to, the cost of packaging, shipping and applicable taxes.
For warranty service at a Service Center, you will need the duly completed warranty certificate or original receipt of purchase. The Service Center will determine whether or not the problem is covered by Boyt's warranty. If the warranty applies, you will be notified as to whether the Product will be repaired or replaced. Any such repair or replacement will be at Boyt's expense, including any costs required to return the repaired or replacement product to you. If the Product is to be replaced and the Product is no longer available, Boyt will substitute a comparable Boyt product.
Incidental and consequential damages are expressly disclaimed. Labor charges and damages attributable to work performed by anyone other than a Service Center are not covered by this warranty. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties are hereby excluded. The warranty provided herein is limited to the value of the Product. Manufacturing specifications are subject to change without notice. Product locks are intended only to prevent accidental opening and cannot necessarily prevent theft of the Product or its contents, breakage or entry by airline or airport personnel or governmental authorities. Inspect your Product immediately after handling by anyone other than you. If damaged in transit, submit a claim to the transit company (which is insured against damaging your product) at the place of arrival, if possible, before clearing customs.
This warranty is intended to give you specific legal rights. In addition to the rights described herein, you may also have other rights that vary from state to state or country to country with respect to the exclusion or application of implied warranties, incidental and consequential damages and repair and replacement. Consequently, the limitations or exclusions specifically contained in this warranty may not be applicable to you.
